Our team’s mission is to promote greater awareness of stroke prevention through increased physical activity and cardiovascular fitness.  We are endorsed by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT and Nunavut. We invite you to visit their website www.heartandstroke.ca  for more information on treatment and prevention of stroke.

Team members are Tim Watson (captain and fearless leader), Doone Watson (mandatory gear), Sean Rickard (navigator who will keep us on track) and Simon Weidenhofer (iron man who will carry all the team gear!)  The most important part of our team - our support crew - is made up of Emma Rickard, Michelle Weidenhofer and Mairin Viol.  Our cheering squad is Julia and Will Rickard and Jessie and Maddie Weidenhofer.

If you would like to contact any member of our team please write us at <Team13BrainAttack@msn.com>

    Hi Tim and Doone,

Just wanting to wish you and your team the best of luck in Primal Quest. I know how hard you both have been training and I hope you have a ton of fun. I will be thinking of you on June 21.

    Be safe!!!

    Terri

  2. Jerry Scott UNITED STATES Says:

    Hello Tim and Doone,

Linda and I are rooting for you. Our visit to Camp Xstream this spring was our first taste of Adventure racing and we were inspired by your example. Perhaps in a few years we will be ready to attempt the Primal Quest challenge.

    Best wishes,
    Jerry and Linda

  3. Irene Hale UNITED STATES Says:

    Hey Tim and Doone,

I have been keeping track every day and wish you fresh legs every day and you guys are amazing! I know you will get to the finish line. Happy Trails!!!!!!!

    Irene

  4. Susan Powelson CANADA Says:

Thought the team would want to know you have a stranger as a fan. Your team caught my attention (you’re Canadian and Albertan to boot!) before I even realized the connection Tim Watson had with my uncle Tim Mitchell. Tim Mitchell is the Communications Director for PQ, and a stroke survivor and an beneficiary of the stroke protocols developed by the other Tim “Watson”.

Hang in there and can’t wait to see you get to the finish line!
